Play date

Leila had her first first play date with her friends from Louisville. She had a blast watching all the boys running around. It won't be long before she is trying to keep up!

First Thanksgiving!

We traveled to Bloomsburg to celebrate Thanksgiving with Ali's family. Leila enjoyed lots of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and even a little pumpkin pie. Her belly was so hard from eating so much I thought she was going to pop!! Looks like she is taking after her daddy!

Happy Halloween

So today was Leila's first halloween! She dressed up as a fish. I think Ali and I were much more excited about the outfit than she was! We didn't actually trick or treat but we sat outside and passed out candy. We'll save the first trick or treat experience for next year! Leila was a trooper and stayed in her costume for quite a while before insisting that she had had enough. Hope you enjoy the pics.!

Oldies but Goodies

I decided to add some of Leila's newborn photos since I got an 8 month late start on the blog thing. Some of these are when she is 5 days old and some are when she was 3 months old. I can't believe how much she has changed!

Pickin' Pumpkins

Last week we went to pick out our pumpkin. Leila had a hard time smiling for the camera with the sun shining in her face!! Isn't she so cute!!!!!

We took Leila to the park to take some pics outside . She was much more interested in trying to eat the leaves and her pumpkin.

I finally did it!

So everyone keeps telling me I should do this blog thing. Well today I have decided to try this out. I make no promises to keep up with it but I will try my best. I know that nobody is truly interested in Ali and I so I'll get right to the good stuff, Leila!! She is doing awesome. She is 71/2 months old and is changing every day. She definitely keeps us on our toes and keeps us smiling! This past week she learned a new tongue clicking trick that is really cute and a deep grunting sound that is not so cute. I'm gonna try to post some pictures from our hawaii trip so hopefully it works. Hope everyone enjoys!!
